🍌 Toonen’s vs standard Banana Multiplication Medium
Toonen’s modification adjusts the BAP level and macronutrient balance to target higher multiplication coefficients (4–8 shoots per explant per cycle vs 3–5 on standard MS + BAP). The medium is specifically validated for Musa acuminata Cavendish group cultivars (Williams, Grand Nain) used in commercial production.
