2,4-D is the most widely used auxin for callus induction and somatic embryogenesis initiation in monocots and dicots. Its strong growth-promoting activity suppresses organogenesis and drives dedifferentiation.
- ⚗️ Callus induction: 0.5–5.0 mg/L · SE initiation: 1–2 mg/L
- ⚠️ Remove from medium after callus induction to allow embryo maturation
- 📦 1 g · Analytical grade · Dissolve in 1N NaOH · Store at 4°C
