NaOH (1N solution) is the standard alkaline for raising TC media pH and dissolving poorly soluble PGRs. Prepare 1N stock: dissolve 40 g NaOH in 1L distilled water.

• ⚗️ Dissolve IBA, IAA, 2,4-D in 1N NaOH before diluting to working stock
• 📊 Add to media to raise pH · Target before autoclave: 5.7–6.0 (drops 0.1–0.3 units post-autoclave)
