Lab Management Software — Annual License — Digital Operations for TC Facilities
Phytolabs Lab Management Software is a web-based laboratory information management system (LIMS) specifically designed for plant tissue culture facilities, providing digital tools for tracking explant inventory, managing subculture schedules, recording contamination events, monitoring growth room conditions, and generating operational reports for commercial, research, and regulatory purposes. The software replaces paper-based lab notebooks and spreadsheets with a structured, searchable database that improves traceability, reduces transcription errors, and provides management insights not achievable with manual record-keeping systems.
The core module covers accession and batch management: each explant line or variety is registered as an accession with associated metadata (species, genotype, source, date of initiation, donor plant details). Individual batches of vessels are tracked from initiation through subculture history to final disposition (plantlet production, cryopreservation, or loss). The subculture scheduler calculates upcoming subculture dates based on species-specific subculture intervals and generates daily work lists for laboratory staff, preventing the subculture delays that commonly cause culture deterioration in busy commercial operations.
The contamination management module records contamination events with date, vessel location, contamination type (bacterial/fungal/bacterial-like organism), severity, and disposal record. Statistical analysis of contamination rates by explant type, staff member, time period, and LAF cabinet identifies contamination hotspots and trends, enabling evidence-based improvements to contamination control practices. Monthly contamination reports compliant with ISO 17025 documentation requirements support quality management certification applications.
The growth room monitoring module interfaces with temperature and light data loggers to maintain a continuous environmental record for all incubation rooms, alerting the laboratory manager by SMS or email to deviations from set points that could affect culture quality. Historical environmental data is stored and retrievable for regulatory purposes and for investigating culture performance anomalies.
The chemical inventory module tracks stock levels of all TC chemicals, growth regulators, and consumables with automatic low-stock alerts when inventory falls below defined minimum levels, preventing the stockouts of critical reagents that can disrupt commercial production schedules. Chemical usage per batch provides cost-per-plantlet calculations that are essential for commercial pricing and profitability analysis. Annual license includes software updates, cloud data storage, and email support. Contact quant.onco@gmail.com for demonstration and multi-site licensing pricing.
