H₂O₂ is used as a gentle sterilant (0.3–1% dilution) for delicate explants like orchid seeds and embryos where NaOCl is too harsh. Also used in some liquid culture systems for aeration.

• ⚗️ Dilute to 0.3–0.5% for orchid seed sterilisation (2–3 min)
