Absolute ethanol is indispensable in every TC lab — used for brief surface sterilisation of explants (30 seconds), instrument flaming between cuts, and disinfection of laminar flow surfaces.

• 🔥 Use 70% dilution for surface disinfection; 99% for flaming
• ⚗️ For explants: 70% EtOH 30s → NaOCl → sterile water wash ×3
