Phyto Evolution is a Chennai-based plant science company founded on a simple conviction: that laboratory-grade plant science should be accessible — to researchers, small nurseries, commercial growers, and institutions that can’t afford large enterprise suppliers.
What We Do
We operate across three interconnected areas:
- Laboratory supplies — MS medium, plant growth regulators, agar, and culture media formulated to research-grade standards
- Tissue culture production — contract propagation and in-house TC plant nursery (tcplants.in)
- Consulting and protocol development — helping labs and nurseries establish or optimise their TC workflows
Our Facility
Our laboratory is located in Kelambakkam, OMR, Chennai. We maintain laminar flow workstations, autoclave sterilisation, and controlled-environment growth chambers. We handle the full TC pipeline — media preparation, explant initiation, multiplication, rooting, and acclimatization.
Who We Work With
Our clients include home TC hobbyists, boutique plant nurseries, agricultural research institutions, and university labs. Whether you need a single bottle of BAP or a full protocol development contract, we’re set up to help.
