Lab Management Software — Annual License

Description

An annual licence to Phyto Evolution’s lab management platform, designed specifically for tissue culture operations. Generic inventory or production software does not map well to the realities of TC work — culture vessels are not SKUs, contamination events need to be logged against specific batches and operators, and subculture schedules depend on species-specific cycle lengths rather than calendar dates. This platform is built around those actual workflows.

Core modules

• Batch tracking: Every culture batch logged from mother plant accession through establishment, multiplication, rooting, and hardening stages. Stage transitions recorded with date, operator, vessel count, and medium lot
• Contamination log: Contamination events recorded per batch, vessel, and stage with photographic attachment support. Patterns across operators, medium lots, and seasonal periods become visible over time
• Media inventory and prep log: Chemical stock levels tracked against batch consumption. Media preparation records capture pH, autoclave cycle, and pour date for every lot
• Subculture scheduler: Species-specific cycle length settings generate a rolling subculture calendar. Overdue transfers are flagged before they cause losses
• Mother plant registry: Source accession data, collection date, surface sterilisation history, and contamination screening status per donor plant
• Production planner: Vessel count projections across multiplication cycles for target output planning

Licence terms

The licence covers a single lab facility. Multi-site access requires a separate agreement. All updates are pushed by Phyto Evolution — the platform evolves with our own production experience, and client facilities benefit from those improvements without a separate upgrade fee. Data export in CSV format is available at any time. The source code and underlying architecture remain the exclusive property of Phyto Evolution; clients receive a right to use the hosted platform only.

Access is provided via web browser — no local installation required. An onboarding session (approximately 2 hours) is included with the first annual licence to configure species profiles, vessel types, and operator accounts to match your lab’s structure.
